The public is invited to attend the Town of Chili and Lions Club ribbon cutting ceremony for the new playground equipment in Davis Park on June 13 at 6:30 p.m. The new playground equip-ment is a joint venture between the Town of Chili and the Lions Club and is the second part of a five-year replacement pro-gram for playground equipment in all Town Parks. Last year the equipment in Hubbard Park was replaced.

Chili Supervisor Steve Hendershott commends the Lions Club for their ef-forts in assisting the Town with the parks project. Each year the Lions Club will raise $10,000 for parks equipment and the town will match the donation, dollar for dollar, and install the equipment. The other parks to receive playground equipment are Memorial, Ballantyne and Yolanda.
