It started in the spring of 1983 when Megan Elizabeth Schneider and Emilie Nadine Willison were born. Megan was born on March 25 and Emilie on April 7. The two girls have been friends from the beginning.

Emilie and Megan are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Both girls attended Sunday School together before starting school at Northwood Elementary. They have gone on to Youth Conferences, Early Morning Seminary, Super Saturdays, and to Girls' Camp. Last year they flew to Provo, Utah to attend the church's week long youth summer workshop.

Over the years the girls have been in Girl Scouts together. They will graduate from Hilton High School on June 16.

Megan and Emilie shared a desire to be in the Hill Cumorah Pageant. Megan will participate this year in the production. Emilie enjoyed her opportunity to be a part of that performance in 1995 and 1996.

The friends have long dreamed of going to Ricks College, Idaho. Megan has an older sister, Anna Schneider, who attended and graduated from Ricks in May 2000.

Emilie has three older sisters, two of whom attended Ricks.

It is evident that Megan and Emilie both want to follow in their sisters' footsteps by attending schools where the opportunity for spiritual growth is as important to them as the secular education they are pursuing.
