After 28 years as vocal music director at the Churchville-Chili Senior High School, Rob Goodling will retire at the end of the school year. At his final concert at the high school on Thursday, May 17, former members of Goodling's choruses joined their voices in singing The Battle Hymn of the Republic, complete with instrumental accompaniment.

The festivities will continue on Friday, July 6 at the Senior High School. A retirement celebration will be held to honor Goodling and pay homage to his years of service. The celebration begins at 6 p.m. with performances in the auditorium followed by a catered dinner at 7 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by local band sensation, Twilight.

Tickets for the celebration cost $30 and may be obtained by calling Jean Arcieri at 293-1800 ext. 2885 by June 22.
