A basketball camp will be held at the Brockport Middle School Gym, July 9-13, for grades three through 12. Brockport Boys Varsity Basketball Coach Charles Hage and Program Assistant Jack Hogan will be co-directors. The camp will feature a teaching staff of 20+ coaches to work with the players. In the past, the camp has featured guest speakers Pearl Washington and Mike Hopkins. They have also had local stars Roosevelt Bouie and John Wallace lecture.

According to Coach Hage, "The camp will focus on teaching fundamental skills and techniques of basketball along with court sense in how to play a team game." The camp will consist of two games a day, fundamental station work, video tape analysis and contests. Each camper receives a t-shirt and ball to keep. The camp has drawn over 125 players each year.
