Beach wheelchairs available at Ontario Beach Park
Beach wheelchairs are now available at Ontario Beach Park for use by people who are physically unable to navigate the sandy beach at the park.
The manual wheelchairs, called De-Bug Beach Wheelchairs, are available at the lifeguard office in the Roger Robach Community Center, and can be accessed by contacting a lifeguard. Proper identification is needed to borrow a beach wheelchair.
There are five wheelchairs, paid for by a Community Development Block Grant.
Supervised swimming at Ontario Beach Park officially was expected to open Saturday, June 16.
