Jonathon Graus of Tyler Trail, Hilton was the first place winner in the Rochester Bass Master Casting Kids Competition. Graus competed in the 11-14 year old category at the Spring Sportsman's Show held at the Dome Arena. He then traveled to Mattydale where he represented the Rochester area in the New York state competition. In addition to a gold medal and certificate, Graus was awarded a new casting rod and reel. He is a fifth grader at the Village Elementary School in Hilton.


Sarah Stalker, a 2001 graduate of SUNY Geneseo, was on the dean's list four years and graduated cum laude with a degree in mathematics. She will teach at Fairport School District this fall. She is the daughter of Kathleen and Michael Stalker and the granddaughter of Wayne and Marie Stalker and Mert Davenport.


Air Force Airman 1st Class Mark A. Caiazza has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Jack Caiazza of Rochester. The airman graduated in 1998 from Gates Chili High School, Rochester, and received an associate degree in 2000 from Rochester Business Institute.


Air Force Airman Jasmine S. Lowe has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, and customs and received special training in human relations. In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force. She is the granddaughter of Anna Lowe of Spencerport.


Joan Greeno, Associate Broker of Nothnagle Realtor's Ogden/Chili office, was honored with the Salesperson of the Month Award for the month of May, according to Robert K. Malone, branch manager. Her volume for the month was over 1.6 million dollars in production. Salesperson of the Month is based on the highest volume of sales in the office for that month.
