ALBION

•Bowen, Gladys M., On June 27, 2001 at the age of 83 following a short illness. Mrs. Bowen was employed at the Arnold Gregory Memorial Hospital for a number of years and T. J. Lipton for a short time. She enjoyed her primary calling of being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother the most. He daughter, Linda Sanderson, and more recently her husband, Guy Bowen, predeceased Mrs. Bowen. He daughter Gail Holmes of Clarendon, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews, survive her.

A Funeral Service was held June 29 at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, Albion. Interment at Hillside Cemetery will be private. Those wishing can make memorial remembrances to the United Way of Eastern Orleans County.

BROCKPORT

•Eppenstein, Martha, On June 22, 2001 at age 94. Predeceased by her husband, Alfred. Survived by her son, Alfred (Kitty) of Florida; daughter, Evelyn Krekic of Brockport; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at the Church of the Nativity B.V.M., Brockport on June 25. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Lakeside Foundation in her memory.

•Fleming, Stephen L., June 25, 2001 at the age of 48. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; his parents, Arnold and Barbara Fleming; sisters, Deborah Fleming of New Hampshire, Gail (Mike) Riddell of Spencerport, and Judy (Jim) Doty of Oregon; nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held June 28 at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport. The family requests people to sign an organ donation card in honor of Stephen or make a donation to Lakeside Memorial Hospital.

•Share, Sally F., June 21, 2001 at the age of 56. She is survived by her children, Carla (Bob) Hovey, Chad and Cal Share; loving companion, Robert Schultz; 10 grandchildren.

A Memorial Service was held June 25 at Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport.

HILTON

•Monfredo, Mary Jo, June 26, 2001. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Cheryl (Bob) Stevens, Joseph (Denay) Monfredo, Gloria (Al) Mowers, Mary Ellen (John) DiTucci; best friend, Helen Mercurio; several great nieces and nephews; cousins, Roxanne (Michael) Zambito. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel 3rd Order.

A Funeral Mass was held June 29 at St. Leo's Church, Hilton. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations can be made to St. Leo's Church or The Eastman School of Music in her memory.

NORTH CHILI

•Bailey, Grace A. (Banker), Sunday, June 24, 2001 at age 73. Predeceased by her husband, Dr. William H. Bailey and brother, Charles Banker. Survived by her sons, Anthony (Kay) Bailey and Lon (Nadine) Bailey; grandchildren, Andrew, Alexander and Miriam Bailey; sister, Mildred (James) Kallman; brother, Frank Banker. She was active at Pearce Memorial Church in the choir and Stephen Ministries; and was also active in the Chili Art Club.

A Memorial Service was held June 28 at Pearce Memorial Church, North Chili. Private interment, North Chili Rural Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Pearce Memorial Church Building Fund.

SPENCERPORT

•Rieke, Dorothy L., June 22, 2001 at age 88 in Troy. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert T. Rieke and her daughter, Shirley L. Stone. She is survived by her granddaughter and husband, Shelly L. Stone and Richard Cavagnolo and her great granddaughter, Samantha, all of Clifton Park.

A Funeral Service was held June 29 at the Walker Brothers Company Funeral Home, Inc., Spencerport. Interment, Falls Cemetery. Contributions can be made to The Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center Resident's Fund, 2256 Burdett Avenue, Troy 12180 in her memory.
