The Spencerport Canal Days Committee is seeking volunteers to assist in the Information Booth and in the Children's Activities tent on Saturday and Sunday, July 28 and 29.

According to Patrick Hotchkiss, the Event Coordinator of this year's event, "We are in desperate need of people who are willing to help us out. We would be happy to hear from anyone who is willing to spend a few hours on Saturday and/or Sunday. We are one of the few events of our type which relies completely on volunteer help. Volunteers make it possible for the Canal Days Committee to return something of value to our town and village. This year, a picnic shelter in Pineway Ponds Park was paid for by our committee. We would like to continue this practice, but we need volunteers to make it possible."
