The Hilton High School Class of 2001 Commencement Ceremony will be aired on Cable CH 12 Wednesday, July 11, and Wednesday, August 16, both at 7 p.m. The commencement features the 303 members of the Class of 2001; speakers Superintendent of Schools Dr. John Cooper; faculty member Patricia Begy, recipient of the University of Rochester Award for Teaching Excellence; Class Valedictorian Kim Cipura; Class Salutatorian Caitlin Bower; High School Principal David Dimbleby; and the presentation of the 2001 Hilton High School Alumni Hall of Fame. The Commencement was held in the Eastman Theater June 16 and featured live video during the ceremony for the first time. The cable program was videotaped by Hilton resident Ann Pearlman, owner of Pearl Video.
