The Hilton Fire Department has the largest carnival in Western New York state. This year's carnival should be one of the best with all new rides and attractions. The dates are from July 25 through July 28. The carnival opens each weeknight at 5 p.m. and on Saturday at noon and is held on the Fire Department grounds at 135 South Avenue. The Kiddie Parade is Wednesday commencing at 6:30 p.m. and the Grand Parade is Thursday commencing at 7 p.m. Gary the Happy Pirate is performing on Wednesday and Saturday at 7:15 p.m. and 12 p.m., respectively. The Skycoasters are giving a free concert on Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. Live bands perform every night in the Beer Tent (known as the "Hilton Zoo").
