Audubon Society invites public to July 23 meeting
The Genesee Valley Audubon Society cordially invites all interested residents of the Town of Greece and surrounding areas to a presentation on Monday, July 23, at 7 p.m. in the Greece Town Hall Community Meeting Room on the subject of habitat preservation and its relationship to migratory birds.
"What You Need to Know About Preserving Braddock Bay Area Habitat and Bird Migrations" will be the topic of the evening. Presentations by the N.Y.S. Department of Environmental Conservation Senior Wildlife Biologists, Daniel Carroll, manager of the Braddock Bay Wildlife Management Area, and David Odell, wildlife director of Region 8 DEC in Avon and a panel discussion/question and answer period will follow moderated by GVAS Audubon Adventures Chairperson Jean Barlow of Hilton.
