August 2 will be Senior Day at the Monroe County Fair. Seniors, ages 60 and up, will receive free gate admission which includes Heritage Village, all exhibits, Festival Tent, grounds entertainment featuring the Wild West Follies, the Star Family Circus and the Giant Puppets on Parade. Seniors are also invited to the free Senior Bingo For Fun at 4:30 p.m. in the Festival Tent. Pfizer Pharmaceuticals will conduct free health screenings including blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar tests as well as a sexual health inventory at their exhibit booth in the Dome. Midway rides, grandstand and parking is extra.

Heritage Village celebrates with Festa Italiana on Senior Day. Featured on the Heritage Stage starting at 4:30 p.m. is the smooth sound of the Tom Monte Trio. Frank Ardino follows and E'CO rounds out the evening's entertainment.
