The three day German Fest will be held Friday, August 10 from 5 to 11 p.m.; Saturday, August 11 from 3 to 11 p.m. and Sunday, August 12 from noon to 9 p.m. at the German Cultural Center Grounds at Gates Memorial Park, 150 Spencerport Road (Route 31).

Sponsored by the Federation of German-American Societies, the German Fest features continuous entertainment featuring musical guests direct from Germany: Die Alpenwind with special appearances of the Barramer Schalmein Hufingen. Also planned are German-American Sports Club Soccer game on Sunday, German-American history displays, activities for children, German foods and beers. Happy hour is scheduled Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. and a Mass on Sunday at 2 p.m. will be celebrated.

Admission is $5 which includes parking. Children 11 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Senior discount day is Sunday, August 12.
