Holley Rod & Gun offers Hunter Safety courses
The Holley Rod & Gun Club's Hunter Safety instructor team will be holding the New York State Basic Hunter Education Course at the club grounds on Pumping Station Road, just south of the Village of Holley.
The August course begins August 22 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. and continues August 24 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., concluding on August 25 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The September course will start classes on September 12 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., continue September 14 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., and conclude on September 15 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
All first-time hunters must complete the Hunter Education Course before they can obtain a New York state hunting license. Students must have attained their eleventh birthday in order to attend the classes.
