Amadeus Chorale plans benefit concert
The Amadeus Chorale is a children's and youth singing organization dedicated to preparing singers and sharing their talents with the community. The chorale is making plans for its Annual Benefit concert. This year it will take place on Sunday, November 18 at the Roberts Wesleyan College Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. Past charity concerts have benefited Rochester School for the Deaf and Lakeside Hospital.
Once again, Lakeside Hospital has chosen The Amadeus Chorale to represent the community and welcome their guest of honor to their annual gala. The group has sung for Norman Schwartzkoff, Colin Powell, and former British Prime Minister John Major in the past and will welcome Walter Cronkite this December.
The Amadeus Chorale recently recorded its second CD, which is entitled "Lullabies and Butterflies for Young Hearts." Delivery of the completed CD is expected within the month and a copy can be ordered by calling 964-8974.
The Amadeus Chorale consists of several choirs for treble voiced singers in grades three through 12. For more information, visit www.theamadeuschorale.org.
