The Adopt-A-Trail Committee for the Erie Canal towpath in the Town of Sweden will hold an informational and organizational meeting at 7 p.m., Monday, September 17, in the small meeting room of the Town Hall, 18 State Street. All organizations that might be interested in participating in this program are invited to send representatives. Guidelines for participation will be discussed and preliminary plans made for taking part in a county-wide "sweep" of the towpath that has been scheduled by the Monroe County Regional Canalway Trail Group for October 20.
