Vanderstow-Press, Ruth E., September 8, 2001 at the age of 83. Predeceased by her first husband, Jacob Vanderstow in 1989 and her second husband, James Press in 1997. Ruth is survived by her children, Joanne Clark (Bill Parry) of Medina, Betty (Lee) Putney of Brockport, George (Alice) Vanderstow of Hamlin, Peggy Overholt of Medina and Bill Vanderstow of LeRoy; step-children, Fred (Merilee) Press of Buffalo, Madeline (Dave) Alvaro of Virginia, and David (Ruth) Press of Holley; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by three sisters and survived by sister, Eleanor Grumm of Rennselaer; many nieces and nephews; dear friends Helen and Ray Dassero.

Clayton, Patricia A., September 6, 2001. She was predeceased by her husband, William; her sisters, Ella and Mary and her brother, Fred. Survived by her step-son, Devin; sister, Lucille Ferris; brother-in-law, Roger Decker; several nieces and nephews.

Hube, Eleanor E., September 4, 2001 at age 76. She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Joan Hube of Churchville, Sadie Hube of Minnesota; brother-in-law, Robert Clovis of Rochester; nieces, Jacqueline (David) Sebald of Minnesota, Kathleen (Robert) Kruger of Rochester, Christine (Timothy) Ruscio of Glens Falls, Elizabeth (Jon) Barrett of Rochester, and Marcia (Michael) Townsend of Williamsville; several grand nieces and nephews.

Pera, Catharine I., On September 6, 2001 at the Lakeside Beikirch Care Center in Brockport at the age of 87. She retired from General Electric in Brockport in the late 1960s. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Holley and the G.E. retirees group. She was predeceased by two husbands Frank Allen in 1944 and Joseph Pera in 1980. She is survived by a son James (Barbara) Allen of Arizona and three daughters, Marion (Robert) Woodworth of Clarendon, Emma (Doug) Cosby of Holley and Catharine Gallagher of Holley. Also surviving are nine grandchildren; six great grandchil-dren; two sisters, Martha (Ed) Hale of Gates and Emma (Bud Lathan) Moran of Spencerport, several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service was held at the First Presbyterian Church of Holley on September 10. Interment at Hillside Cemetery. Those wishing can make memorial remembrances to the First Presbyterian Church of Holley or a charity of choice.

Bootes, Robert J. Sr., September 5, 2001. He is predeceased by his wife, Betty and is survived by a special friend, Nina Mayes; his children, Debra (Dan) Hicks, Sandra Wolfe, Robin (Tim) Crawford, Robert Jr.; daughter-in-law, Patricia; nine grandchildren; his step mother, Anna; his sisters, Jean and Helen and brother, James; several nieces, nephews and many close friends.

Littlefield, Donald P. Sr., Peacefully, September 5, 2001 at age 71. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Loretta E. Littlefield; his children, D. Patrick (Sally) Littlefield Jr., David (Lynne) Littlefield, Laurie (Joe) Polatas, Alice (Art) Merkel; his brothers, David and James Littlefield; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was a Kodak retiree.

Bader, William George "Sea Dog Charter," On Friday, September 7, 2001 at the age of 56, after a courageous battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his mother, Barbara and is survived by his wife, Carol; his children, Harold (Marge) Schofield, David Schofield and Debbie (Ben) Barrow; four grandchildren; his father, Joseph (Wilma); two brothers, Joseph (Mary) and Frank (Elaine); several nieces, nephews and many friends. He was a retiree of Delco.

Sterling, Robert L., September 8, 2001 at age 77. Survived by his wife of 42 years, Marguerite E. Sterling; daughters, Ann L. Rosenzweig, Linda (Butch) Bianchi, Joyce (Joe) Padilla, Roberta (Mike) Drapela and Carol Poythress; sons, Robert Ruffner and Charles Sterling; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Wright; brother, Richard (Vioreene) Sterling; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jeanette Munger, Charles D. (Ethel) Rosenzweig, Edward K. Rosenzweig and Mary Pace; nieces, nephew. He was a veteran of WW II and a retiree of Eastman Kodak.
