Hilton expects to approve capital project vote
The Hilton School District Board of Education is expected to approve a Capital Project bond vote to be presented to district residents for their approval on December 4. The approval vote follows a year of planning by the board's Long Range Planning Committee, a group of teachers, administrators, parents and community members, which worked with two consultants to develop the set of school building additions, renovations and technology requirements. Those consultants were The Thomas Group, Inc. of Ithaca and Christa Construction, Inc. of Victor.
A presentation of the Capital Project, its implications for all Hilton school buildings, their site and parking facilities as well as the expansion of the pool will be presented by Superintendent of Schools John Cooper and Assistant Superintendent for Business.
