Village of Spencerport Mayor Ted Walker and Town of Ogden Supervisor Gay Lenhard announce a collaborative effort to address building permit and inspection, code enforcement, and fire marshal duties for Spencerport village residents.

Effective immediately, and until more permanent and substantive arrangements are made, the Town of Ogden Building Department will handle all Village of Spencerport building, code enforcement, and fire marshal services.

According to the two government leaders, the action is necessary because the village's former Building Inspector/Code Enforcement Officer/Fire Marshal Scott Zarnstorff recently left to take a similar position with the Village of Brockport.

Village residents who require building permits and inspections are requested to contact Jack Crooks at the Town of Ogden Building Department, 269 Ogden Center Road, Spencerport, NY 14559, or by telephone at 352-2145. Requests for Fire Marshalling services should be directed to Mr. Crooks.
