Over three dozen first and second grade youth are participating in this fall's Listen and Learn Basketball (LLB) program sponsored by Hilton-Parma Recreation and coordinated by Coach Ory Mee, his Hilton Central coaching staff, and several of his basketball players. This instructional program is designed for youth to learn the game in a fun and exciting way.

Steve Fowler, director of Recreation & Parks, said, "Our LLB program is a nice compliment to our youth basketball program for 4th through 8th grade boys which will begin in late November, our 3rd grade instructional program run during the late winter, and our girls' basketball league presently running this fall." If that's not enough basketball, Fowler noted there is lots of open gym time for teenagers to shoot hoops and several basketball camps planned each summer.
