Kendall's girl's soccer team defeated Holley 4-1 October 11 to improve their record to 9-1 in league play and first place with a little over a week left in the regular season.

Jackie Fisk scored a pair of virtually identical goals - both on assists from Laura Gaesser - two minutes apart in the second half to seal the victory. Senior Sarah Charland started the scoring in the 8th minutes of the game with an assist from Kristina Gaylord before Fisk's goals made it 3-0 Eagles.

Holley's Lauren Logsdon put the ball in the lower right hand corner of the net off Kristen Spychalski's pass for the Hawks' only tally. That came before Gaesser scored a goal of her own in the 76th minute dribbling around three separate defenders and using her left foot on the unassisted goal marking her third point of the game.

Kendall head coach John King talked about the key win: "Holley and Byron-Bergen are always the teams to beat in our league if we want to do well. We were able to keep our composure and made some nice passes, especially around their net." The loss was Holley's first in league action of the season dropping their record to 7-1-1.
