The Hiscock-Fishbaugh American Legion Post No. 788 and the Hilton-Parma Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6105 have embarked on a project to install a Veterans memorial at the Hilton Community Center to honor all area veterans.

This granite memorial will be placed on the west side of the gazebo and engraved in memory to all veterans. The base will be surrounded with personalized engraved bricks for each veteran that may be purchased for $50. Construction will begin in late 2001 and be completed in 2002.

This memorial required financial support from the community to make it a reality. The estimated cost is $15,000. Contributors of $500 and up will receive special recognition.
