This year, childrens' choirs from Spencerport area churches will congregate at Trinity Lutheran Church on Sunday, November 11 at 6:30 p.m. for the second annual Kidspiration Music Festival. Childrens' music directors from area churches will conduct their groups as they perform a unique anthem of praise.

Youth musical groups from seven churches, St. John the Evangelist, Ogden Baptist, Ogden Presbyterian, First Congregational (White Church), Trinity Lutheran, Adams Basin Methodist and Wesleyan Church of Spencerport, will represent their congregation vocal and instrumental music.

The coordinator of the event, Wilma Slominski, has performed in the Singspiration adult concert and envisioned an ecumenical concert with children.

"It is exciting to listen to the variety of music that children practice in their church," she said. Most importantly, it is more exciting to watch the kids relate with one another, especially when they realize that many are friends in their own community."
