The Sweden Senior Center will sponsor the "Memories of Love" Tree during the holiday season. The decorated tree will be on the west lawn of the Senior Center. A donation of $5 per light bulb will enable participants to honor a special person or event. Donors may purchase lights in memory of deceased relatives or friends, a living memorial to a loved one, anniversaries, birthdays, engagements, marriages, to honor a loved one serving (or has served) America.

An acknowledgment card will be sent out to the family of the deceased, to those being recognized, and will include the donor's name. Each honored person's name or event will be inscribed in the traditional "Memories of Love" book, which will be kept at the Sweden Senior Center.

The tree lighting ceremony will be held at the Sweden Senior Center on Tuesday, December 4 2001 at 7 p.m. The holiday program will include the lighting of the tree, caroling, entertainment, and refreshments. Donation forms are available at the Sweden Senior Center or by calling 637-8161. Requests due by November 26.
