Cicero, Nunzio J., Peacefully on November 5, 2001 at the age of 66. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Lorraine Cicero; his children, Joseph Cicero, Gina (Keith) Melder, Marianne (Mark) Sheffield and John Cicero; five grandchildren; many close friends and relatives.

Coyle, Sophie E., Peacefully on November 9, 2001 at the age of 89. She is predeceased by her grandson, Todd Coyle (1980). Lenharr, Josephine C., Peacefully on November 11, 2001 at the age of 88. She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years George W. Lenharr; her children, Robert (Emma) Cusenz, Edward (George-Anne) Cusenz, Dorothea (Kenneth) Montante, Tom (Juliet) Lenharr, Ed (Barbara) Lenharr and Donna Corudell who all re-side in California; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; her sister, Mary Catone of Arizona; sister-in-law, Stella Wahendorf of California; also many nieces, nephews and close friends.

HOLLEY
Boynton, Mildred Louise, At age 86, peacefully at the Orleans County Nursing Home on November 6, 2001. Mrs. Boynton was predeceased by her husband of 58 years Elmer Boynton in November 2000. She is survived by her children, Roger (Pamelia) Boynton of Holley and Elaine (Anthony) Muscolino of Manchester. Also surviving are four grandchildren.
A Funeral Service was held November 10 at the First Presbyterian Church of Holley. Interment, Hillside Cemetery. Memorial remembrances can be made to the Holley First Presbyterian Church.
Strong, Charles H., Formerly of Holley and resident of the Lake Ontario shore in Kendall for the last twelve years, died October 29, 2001 at Strong Memorial Hospital.
"Mr. Strong" as he was known to his students and many teachers and "Chuck" to others was a former superintendent of Holley Central School for eleven years. He also served six years as Holley Village Mayor.
He was born in Utica, NY to parents Herbert and Adelaide Strong, one of a large family. He attended Waterville Central High School.
Upon graduating in 1942 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served in the Pacific theater for three years. At the end of the war, he completed his undergraduate work at Syracuse University. He went on to receive his master's degree in English literature at the State University of New York at Albany where he continued to further his education over the next several years.
Before his administrative years in areas of New York state, he enjoyed teaching high school English.
His love for people and community made him an active player in service clubs and organizations; Rotary, Lions, American Red Cross, and The United Way to mention a few. He was an American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars member. For many years, he was master of ceremonies for the Memorial Day Service in Holley. He served on the Board of Directors of Channel 21 in its infant years. He was on the late Senator John Daly's staff after retirement from education.
At the time of his death he was serving on Lakeside Memorial Hospital's Board of Directors and Board of Governors.
His passing is a loss of great magnitude to his family, who loved him dearly, and his many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 24 at the First Presbyterian Church on State Street in Brockport. Friends are invited to attend.
KENDALL
Bruce, Harriett G., November 8, 2001 at the age of 93. She is predeceased by her husband, A. W. Bruce in 1996. She is survived by her children, Alfred (Noreen) of North Carolina, Gerri VanElzakker of Fairport, and Gordan of Syracuse; five grandchildren; a great grand daughter; several nieces and nephews; friend and caregiver Ellen Robinson.
A Memorial Service was held November 10 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Brockport. Contributions can be made to Orleans County Meals on Wheels or St. Luke's Episcopal Church in her memory.
Wilson, Joan D., Tuesday, November 13, 2001 at the age of 69. She is survived by her son, Richard Jr. of Kendall; step-daughter, Donna Lee (Jerry) Livingston of Canaseraga; step-grandchildren, Renee and Ryan; her sister, Jane Jurhs; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews.

Beaney, David R. "Ralph", Suddenly November 10, 2001 at age 42 in Eustis, Florida, formerly of Spencerport. Predeceased by his mother, Ninon (Nena) Beaney. Survived by his father, David L. (Denise) Beaney of Leesburg, Florida; two sisters, Ellen (Mark) Turrie of Brockport and Susan (Kevin) Yackel of Chili; brother, Derek Beaney of Rochester; nephews, Kyle and Jacob Turrie; niece, Gina Turrie; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Memorial Service was held Thursday, November 15 at the Lake Square Presbyterian Church, Leesburg, Florida. Interment at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude's Research Hospital in his memory.
Gollwitzer, Edwin C., On November 10, 2001. He was predeceased by his wife, Marilyn E. Gollwitzer. He is survived by his sons, Michael (Dee Dee), William "Scott" (Catja) and Richard (Lori); his daughters, Kathleen (David) Bernath and Karen (Larry) Schisel; 11 grandchildren. He was a retiree of Churchville-Chili School District.

Hendel, Ruth M. (Fecteau), On November 5, 2001 at age 86 in Portland, Oregon. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter F. Hendel. She is survived by two sons, James W. (Rosina) Hendel of California and Robert J. (Pollyann) Hendel of Oregon; her brother, LaVerne Fecteau of Florida; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was a retiree of Marine Midland Bank.

Henderson, Edith M. (Vogt), On November 7, 2001 at age 96. She was predeceased by her husbands, John J. Vogt and George H. Henderson. She is survived by three nephews, Alfred T. (Dorothy) Freestone of Holley, Ralph (Brenda) Peake and Everett (Patricia) Peake, both of Brockport. She was a member of the Ogden Senior Citizens Club.
