Residents of the Spencerport community will once again share their enthusiasm for the Christmas holiday by decorating the exteriors of their homes. In its fifth year, this contest is sponsored by the Spencerport Area Chamber of Commerce.

In light of the September 11 tragedy, this year's lights should reflect respect for those who lost their lives and their families and be lit in their memory, says outgoing Chairperson Joyce Lobene.

John and Michelle Soldi, 2001 chairpersons, and their staff of judges will be out in full force the week of December 17. All entries must be in no later than December 15.

The categories are: Most Spectacular, Most Traditional, Most Unique, Judges' Choice.

Entries may be picked up at the Ogden Library, M & T Bank, Marine Midland Bank, U.S. Post Office in Spencerport. Forms are also in this issue of the Suburban News.
