Andrew Meyers, a Hope College freshman from Churchville, is appearing in Hope College Theatre's production of "The Government Inspector" by Nikolai Gogol.
Meyers is portraying Bobchinsky, a town-gossip.
Meyers is the son of Gregg and Renee Meyers of Churchville. He is a 2001 graduate of Churchville-Chili Senior High School.
Senior Michael Cory Oehlbeck of Village Walk Circle in Spencerport was among the 17 SUNY College at Brockport undergraduate students named this fall to the Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society, Beta Tau Chapter. To be eligible, students must demonstrate significant achievement, including maintaining an overall grade point average of 3.00 (out of 4.00) or better.
Elaine Crowell, attended the annual GRAAR awards luncheon noted for the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation by the Council of Residential Specialists, the largest not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors.
Realtors who receive the CRS Designation have completed advanced courses and have demonstrated expertise in the field of residential real estate. About 35,000 realtors nationwide have earned the credential.

Navy Ensign Robert Mendez, brother of Erikka and Alexia Mendez of Lake Road, Hamlin, received his commission as a naval officer after completing Officer Candidate School (OCS) at Naval Aviation Schools Command, Naval Air Station, Pensacola, Florida.
Mendez joined the Navy in June 2001.
