Hilton Superintendent of Schools John Cooper, left, presented the Excellence in Student Learning $50 Savings Bond Award to Hilton High School sophomore Jacob Smith, center, son of Rev. and Mrs. Kim Smith of Parma. Jacob was nominated for the award by his math teacher Teresa Molter, right, who commented that, "He has a strong work ethic in class as well as after school. He's been a model student in my class bringing up his average 30 points last year." The award carries a $50 U.S. Savings Bond which was donated by Apple Country Veterinary of Hilton.
