The Spencerport Lions Club honored the female volunteers from Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance with a Robert Uplinger Award at a recent meeting. Along with the award, a donation was made to The New York Lions Foundation in their name. The following members joined the group for dinner: Julie Tewksbur'y, Ann Hamblin, Kathy Campbell, and Dorothy German. All of these women have served over 10,000 hours. There are several other members of the ambulance who have continued to volunteer with the group and provide Spencerport with emergency care. Club members said they applaud the dedication of these volunteers and wanted to show their appreciation.
