ALBION
Dragon, Edward T., 82, December 2, 2001 at the Park Ridge Hospital following a short illness. Born in British Columbia, Canada to the late Simon (Anastasia "Nellie" Mazola) Dragon, shortly following his birth the family moved to Albion where he resided his entire life. Mr. Dragon was also predeceased by four brothers and a sister.
He enjoyed running his farm for several years and even maintained his farming career after going to work for the Village of Albion working at Mount Albion Cemetery until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Isabel (Salviski) Dragon of Albion and their children, Scott (Debbie) Dragon of Kendall, Jacklyn Dragon of Albion and Jason Dragon of Albion. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Lee, Kevin and Steven; three brothers, John (Norma) Dragon of Kent, George and Walter Dragon both of Arizona; five sisters, Mildred Gibbs of Ohio, Margaret Krysiak of Vermont, Helen Eckert of California, Pat Carleton of Albion and Elsie Himelein of Rochester; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was said December 10 at Saint Joseph's Church. Interment Mount Albion Cemetery following the services. Contributions can be made to Saint Joseph's Church or a charity of their choice in his memory.
AREA
Buckley-Dworzanski, Aldeen, November 30, 2001 at the age of 74.
Mrs. Dworzanski was born in St. Augustine, Florida to the late Merton (Ruby Dodge) Huck. She resided in this area her lifetime. She was a 1983 retiree of Eastman Kodak Building 25.
She was a member of Saint Joseph's Church in Albion and past president of the Rosary Society of Our Mother of Sorrows in Rochester.
A sister, Gladys Buckley, predeceased her. She is survived by her husband and long time companion Andy Dworzanski; her son, Mike (Lorraine) Huck of Holley; two grandchildren, Julie (Chris) Banker and Tina (Robert) Nowatchic; four great grandchildren, Dylan, Hunter, Bryan and Mikaela; one brother, Albert Huck of Mexico and one sister, Dorothy Bates of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was said December 3 at St. Joseph's Church. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials remembrances can be made to Camp Good Days and Special Times or Hospice of Orleans County.
Hayes, Henry T., Age 84, November 30, 2001. Predeceased by first wife, Rhea and second wife, Marion; son, Bud. Survived by children, John (Renee) Erbe of Brockport, Patricia (Henry Bailey) Brien of Albion, Thomas Hayes of Bergen, Judy (Rigo) Hayes of Oakfield; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brother, William (Eleanor) Hayes of Florida; sister, June Auer of Keene, NY; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Howarth, Agnes H., Friday, November 30, 2001 at age 92. Predeceased by her husband, Earl R. and son, William Howarth. Survived by her sons, Earl R. (Geraldine) Howarth Jr., James (Susan) Howarth; daughters, Margaret (William) McGuigan and Helen (Roger) Skinner; 16 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Diane Howarth; one sister, Helen (Donald) Putman.

Lester, Stanley E., 58, of Lake Wales, Florida, died Saturday, November 3, 2001 at Winter Haven Hospital due to complications of a stroke.
Mr. Lester lived in Hamlin, and worked at Eastman Kodak Company for 23 years before moving to Florida. He was an active member of the Hamlin Volunteer Fire Department and was also a Fire Police. Mr. Lester was instrumental in starting Pop Warner Football in Hamlin; he coached football and baseball for the Town of Hamlin's Athletic Association. Mr. Lester also served on the Monroe County Fish Advisory Board. He was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Brockport.
Seventeen years ago, Mr. Lester moved to Lake Wales, Florida where he owned Liberty Antiques. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Junior Warden, Lake Wales Masonic Lodge #242, board member of the Lake Wales Main Street Association and was instrumental in reviving the towns 4th of July cele-bration. Mr. Lester was a board member of Lake Wales Ducks Unlimited. He was involved with the group's youth program, Green Wing. The club promotes con-servation of wetlands areas and Mr. Lester taught gun safety to the youth group. Mr. Lester also served as a re-serve officer with the Florida Fish and Game Commission.
In addition to his wife, Beverly, he is survived by his daughters, Frances L. Rowley, Kendall; Teena L. Donaher, Charlotte, North Carolina; sons, Kenneth Surridge, Silver Springs, Florida, S. Michael Lester, Kendall, New York; Scott Surridge, Riverview, Florida; Mark Surridge, San Bernardino, California and Todd Gartley, Kellogg, Idaho; brother Albert Lester, Bath, New York; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

BROCKPORT
Peers, John, Suddenly on December 1, 2001 at the age of 47. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathi; his children, Emily and Ian; his father, Leon Peers; brothers, Gary (Katy), Tom (Debby), Lee (Laurie); several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. John was an active soccer referee in the summer and fall programs.

Rossiter, Raymond J. Jr., Thursday, November 29, 2001 at the age 76. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marian (Corwin) Rossiter; his children, Sue Ann (John) McGill, Linda (Ross) Baglio, Donna (Steve) Piggot, Carolyn (Russ) Long, Rita O'Brien, Doris Rossiter, Raymond Rossiter and Cindy (Dave) Zachman; his mother, Marie Huntley; his brother, Ronald (Lotus) Rossiter; sisters, Bernice (Richard) Wright and Eleanor Decker; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sev-eral nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company, Past Commander of Harvey C. Noone American Legion Post #954 and was a member of Batavia VFW Post #1602.

Detsch, Bessie, Peacefully, on October 27, 2001 at the age of 88. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph L. Detsch (1981). She is survived by her daughters, Janice (Fred) Schudel, Donna (Ronald) Hoak, Norene Pask (David Gominiak) and Charlene Detsch; also 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Wilda Adair; and her special friend, Ken Wagner; also many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Holenbeck, Kenneth C., Age 78, December 1, 2001, survived by Grace Holenbeck; children, Edward (Patricia) Holenbeck of Hilton, Donna (Kurt) Bush, Kathy Holenbeck of Greensboro, North Carolina; grand-children, Kenneth (Casey) Holenbeck, Andrea Holen-beck, John Bush and Edward Bush.

Crawford, James S. Sr., 69, November 29, 2001. Mr. Crawford was the son of the late Stanley (Martha Hickey) Crawford. He was born in Holley and resided in the area for most of his lifetime. He was a retiree of 3M in 1992.
Mr. Crawford was a charter member of the Fancher Hulberton Murray Fire Department, a member of the Jewel Buckman Post American Legion in Holley, also a member of the Holley VFW and a volunteer driver for the local Veteran's Administration in Albion.
A son, Randy Crawford, and a grandson, Steven Patten, predeceased him. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Elizabeth (Farnham) Crawford and their children, Debbie Patten of Hilton, Sharon (David) Ruggles of Maridale, NY, Kathy (Robert) Robb of Holley, James (Lisa) Crawford Jr., of Brockport and Kim McGuire of Holley. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren; one brother, Harold Crawford of Holley and several nieces and nephews.

Emanuele, Teresa L. (Stazie), Age 85, died November 30, 2001. She is survived by her sons, Donald (Judy) Emanuele of Holley; David (Abby) Emanuele of Syracuse; grandchildren, Beth Friedo, Donald and Alexander Emanuele; great grandchildren, Timothy and Nicholas Friedo; sister, Angeline Brunette of Holley; brothers, Thomas (Pauline) Stazie of Holley, William (Elsie) Stazie of Holley, Joseph (Helena) Stazie of Rochester; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friedo, Joseph M., Age 89, November 29, 2001. He was a former Mayor of Holley, former Town of Murray Historian, was co-founder and 36 year charter member of the Community Library, a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow, a member of St. Mary R. C. Church, the Holy Name Society, and St. Vincent DePaul Society. He was a recipient of the St. Joseph Award from the Diocese of Buffalo for outstanding service. Predeceased by brother, Thomas Friedo and sister, Mary Vanell. He is survived by two sisters, Helen Dreher of Holley, Delia Corletta of Rochester, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services in Holy Cross Cemetery will be announced at a future date. Memorials can be made to a Scholarship Fund in his memory at Holley Central School or to the United Way of Western Orleans County.
O'Mara, Bette J., Age 78, died November 28, 2001. Survived by her husband of 59 years, Albert; sons, John (Lonnice) O'Mara of Colorado, David (Jill) O'Mara of Gates and Michael (Margaret) O'Mara of Kendall; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brothers, Charles Eaton of Greece and Clair (Romola) Eaton of Georgia; sister-in-law, Eva Wais of Hilton; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
