The Monroe County Fire Bureau held ceremonies on November 26 at the Strong Museum for graduates of the County Firefighter Training Program. Receiving certificates that evening were Todd KaKuda, Co. #2 firefighter and Ben Evans, Co. #1 firefighter, Chili Fire Department.
The County Training Program is offered for new volunteer firefighters who have little or no firefighter related backgrounds and takes them through all aspects of basic fire fighting.

Company #1 firefighter Jennifer D'Alessio completed the New York State Certified Firefighters Course; graduation was held at the State Fire Academy in Montour Falls.
