Churchville-Chili to install new phone system
No voicemail during holiday break
The Churchville-Chili Central School District phone system will be upgraded during the holiday break. Voicemail will be off-line from 5 p.m. on Friday, December 21 until Wednesday, January 2. During this time, people calling into the district will not be able to leave voicemail messages.
The upgrade, which is part of the district's capital project, will be completed by Cisco Systems. Throughout the rest of the school year, additional phones will be installed in all of the elementary school classrooms for safety reasons.
In addition to the new phone system, the scope includes wiring and network upgrades that will better handle the high number of district phone calls. The district looks forward to more efficient phone service for internal use and to improved responsiveness for the community in general.
