The Hamlin Fire Department and the Hamlin Fire District elections were held in December 2001. Ronald Breslawski was re-elected as Hamlin Fire District commissioner for a five year term beginning January 1, 2002. The chief officers for 2002 are Scott Witte as chief, Ralf Kurzowski as deputy chief and Daryl Prince as assistant chief. Civil Line officers include Doug Brown as president, Rob Koss as vice president, Bob Jones as treasurer and Joan Sorrell as secretary.
