Flu Shot Clinics scheduled in Monroe County
Health officials still urge residents to get immunized
Monroe County health officials believe the flu is slowly making its way to the Rochester region, with several cases confirmed to date. For those who have not received the flu vaccine, more clinics are scheduled. Adults, ages 18 and older, can receive a flu shot on the following dates.
- Monday, January 14, 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Monroe County Health Department, 111 Westfall Road, Rochester.
- Monday, January 14, 1 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Penfield Community Center, 1985 Baird Road, Penfield.
Most HMO insurances and Medicare cover the cost of the vaccination; a copy of the insurance card is necessary to receive the benefit.
