Saints drop to Olympia

The Churchville-Chili Saints girl's volleyball team lost to Greece Olympia 30-17, 30-28, 30-21 January 10 to fall to 1-9 on the season.

In the first game, after being tied 6-6, Olympia scored 24 of the final 35 points including the final six in the win. Greece was leading by as many as 13 points in the second game before the Saints went on a 20-9 run to close within one point at 28-27 before Greece won two of the final three points. Game three was a mirror image with Olympia up by seven points before Churchville-Chili closed to within one point at 18-17. They would only score four more points to complete the sweep.

Danielle Cassidy led the Saints with 14 digs and 10 assists. Jordan Hawthorne had 10 digs, as did Heidi Mance who added 4 kills. Alycia Onderdonk led the Saints with 6 kills in the match.
