Sixteen C-C students receive art awards

Twelve Churchville-Chili High School students have received a total of 14 Scholastic Art Awards in the categories of photography, ceramics, drawing, printmaking, painting, sculpture and art portfolio. In addition, four junior high students also received awards.

The high school students are: Lisa Barker, Rachel Diesel, Arijana Kezo, Amber Syer, Kelly Basset, Naomi Dudek (2 awards), Pat Jager (2 awards), Pat Martin, Lisa Sklonik, Grayson Krol, Alex Tosto, and Adam Wedert. Their teachers are: Char Dodd, Susan Kagel, Jon Woodard and Colleen L'Hommedieu.

The junior high students are Rodi Keseidis, Andy Mindler, John Bertolone and Cory Mellor. Their teachers are Jane Betrus and Colleen Currie.

The students' work will be on exhibit at the Bevier Gallery at Rochester Institute of Technology through February 20.
