SUNY Brockport names Anne Fowler

Fowler re-joins team for the 2002 season
Anne Fowler has been hired as Head Womens Lacrosse Coach for the 2002 season at SUNY Brockport. She takes over for Rob Brooks, who recently resigned.
Fowler returns to Brockport where she was the head coach of womens lacrosse from 1995-1999 as well as field hockey from 1990-1997. In her first stint as Brockport womens lacrosse coach, Fowler posted a 38-27 record in five seasons.
Currently, Fowler is in her second year as an instructor of Physical Education for Greece Athena Middle School in Rochester. She also serves as a field hockey official in Section Five.
Fowler earned both a bachelor of science degree in education and master of science degree in education from SUNY Brockport. While an undergrad at Brockport, Fowler led the team to two state field hockey titles (1980, 1981) and a first-place regional title in 1981, as well as a fourth-place finish at the national tournament the same year. Fowler was also inducted into the SUNY Brockport Athletic Hall of Fame in October 1996.
The Golden Eagles open up their 2002 schedule March 26 when they host the University of Rochester at 4 p.m.
