BOCES 2 Career & Technical Education
Center to hold Information Night

WE-MO-CO Career and Technical Education Center will hold an Information Night so students and parents can learn more about educational opportunities in a number of different career and technical fields. Participants can visit up to three classes of their choice where they will learn about class content, requirements and structure; meet current students, faculty and staff; participate in classroom activities; and hear about opportunities for students once they complete the course. Commercial Art and Advertising Design, Baking, Carpentry, Automotive Collision Repair Technology, Computer Information Systems and Dental Assisting are a few of the courses offered at the Career and Tech Center.

Although the Information Night is specifically geared toward eighth- and tenth-grade students who are interested in attending WE-MO-CO during high school, the event is also open to the public. BOCES 2 serves nine component school districts: Brockport, Churchville-Chili, Gates Chili, Greece, Hilton, Holley, Kendall, Spencerport and Wheatland-Chili.

Information night is Wednesday, March 6 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at WE-MO-CO Career and Technical Education Center, 3589 Big Ridge Road, Spencerport. For information, call the Career and Technical Education Center at 352-2471.
