Pelletier elected president of NYS Association
of Chairs of County Legislative Boards
The President of the Monroe County Legislature, Dennis A. Pelletier (R/C) was elected as President of the New York State Association of Chairs of County Legislative Boards during a recent meeting of the New York State Association of Counties Winter Convention. The Board Chairs Association, an affiliated organization of the NYS Association of Counties, represents the chairs of the 58 county legislative boards, including the City Council of the City of New York.
Pelletier is serving his third consecutive term as the president of the Monroe County Legislature. The Board Chairs' Association has targeted the dramatic rise in Medicaid at the county level as an area in need of major reform at the federal and state level.
Pelletier resides in Spencerport, with his wife, Renee. He has two grown children, Greg and Nicole.
