Musical tribute scheduled

Roberts Wesleyan College will host a musical tribute to its president, William Crothers, and his wife, Rilla. Dr. and Mrs. Crothers have served Roberts Wesleyan as president and first lady since 1981; they will retire this May. Throughout his presidency, Crothers has enjoyed and endorsed the excellence of the college's music department, which is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. The Crothers' tribute concert will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 7, in the Hale Auditorium of the Roberts Cultural Life Center. The Roberts Wesleyan College Chorale, Wind Ensemble and College-Community Orchestra will perform.
