Ogden Democratic Committee
restored after a quarter century

Monroe County Democratic Party Chairman Ted O'Brien has announced the rebirth of the Ogden Democratic Committee after over a quarter century of dormancy. "Our momentum is rising," O'Brien said in a prepared press release. "The formation of the Ogden Democratic Committee is especially significant following the Party's recent takeover of three County Legislature seats and Judge Valentino's State Supreme Court victory. We are on the move."

"I am so impressed and appreciative of the enormous, talent and experience that the Ogden team brings with them under the guidance of their Town Leader, Garry Cranker. This is an effective and energized Democratic team that will win county and town races. The days of Republicans running unopposed in Ogden are over," O'Brien said. Town Committee Leader Garry Cranker agreed. "We will once again bring the Democratic message to the residents of Ogden. They deserve a real choice and it's our goal to provide it." Cranker said, "The Dem-ocratic Party has not been alive in Ogden since the mid-1970s. We've got the momentum now following the 2001 Election victories and we plan on sustaining and enhancing just that."
