students visit area print industries
Hilton High School students in teacher Ron Hindmarch's Technology classes visited several area printing industries in March. The day of shadowing, tours and lunch was sponsored by the Printing and Imaging Association of New York State, of which Hindmarch is a member and officer. Students were accompanied by Business Teacher Livia Toscano and Mary Pignato who coordinate the School-To-Work Programs in Hilton High School co-op and internships. Students visited Cohber Press in Henrietta; Diamond Packaging in Rochester; and Hammer Litho in Rochester. "Students had an opportunity to visit and get an up-close look at the many career opportunities that exist in three local companies," Hindmarch said. Student participants were: Mitch Auble, Scott Barnhart, Steve Bruning, Livio Ciciotti, Evan Dulnik, Chris Hilbert, Dinh La, Mike Maslyn, Adam Quinn, Ed Santiago.
