Buffalo Bisons Girls Hockey team
on their way to nationals

The Buffalo Bisons Girls Hockey team won the state championship played the weekend of March 16 and will be competing in the USA Hockey National Championships which will be held in Anchorage, Alaska starting April 3.

The Buffalo Bisons won all five of their games, defeating the Syracuse Stars in the finals by a score of 6-4. Overall, they outscored their opponents by a total of 47-6.

The three local girls who play on the Buffalo Bisons Team are Morgan Beikirch of Livonia, Lindsay Pegler of Churchville-Chili, and Brittany Salmon of Batavia.
