Parks Department offers clown school
The Monroe County Parks Department will be sponsoring "Clown School" classes in Greece Canal Park. Classes will be conducted by the "Send in the Clowns" clown troupe of Rochester. Classes will run every Monday night, April 22 through June 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Rotary Lodge in Greece Canal Park.
The program will allow individuals to learn the tricks of the trade. Students will be taught the basics of magic, juggling, make-up application, face painting and puppeteering.
The fee to attend all eight classes is $20. Students will be responsible for providing their own supplies. Classes are open to adults ages 18 and older. Registration is required. Call 256-4958 for information.
