C-C Board of Education scheduled
to adopt proposed budget at April 9 meeting

According to district officials, Churchville-Chili Board of Education will adopt a proposed budget for the 2002-2003 school year at the board meeting on April 9 at 7 p.m. The board, with input from community residents, has been developing the proposed budget for the past several months.

Once the board adopts the budget, there will be budget presentations, including a Candidates Night and Budget Hearing on Tuesday, May 7 at 7 p.m. in the Central Office Board Room. The budget vote is Tuesday, May 21, 1-9 p.m., in the middle school gym.

The budget presentation schedule is as follows:

• Wednesday, May 1 - 7 p.m. - Chestnut Ridge Media Center
• Monday, May 6 - 3:15 p.m. - Administrative Board Room
• Monday, May 6 - 6:45 p.m. - Fairbanks Road School Cafeteria
• Tuesday, May 7 - 7 p.m. - Administrative Board Room
