Ogden Farmers' Library makes library catalog changes
Beginning May 9, the computer catalog software at the Ogden Farmers' Library will change from Everybody's Catalog to LibraWeb. Users will be pleased with the expanded capabilities available through the LibraWeb product, which include being able to renew your own materials, place holds on multiple items at once, and remove holds from your library account, according to library staff.
People who currently use the library catalog at home through the Internet (www.libraryweb.org) will already be familiar with the LibraWeb product; people who have not used the LibraWeb product from home may find the new screens and searching methods confusing at first.
To help people become accustomed to the new catalog, Librarian Kate Vreeland will conduct training classes on the LibraWeb product every Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Individual instruction is also available by appointment. Call 352-2141 to register for a Saturday class or make an appointment for individual instruction.
