Sweden Community Center programs slated

The Town of Sweden Recreation Department will be offering the following programs beginning in June at the new Sweden Community Center, 4927 Lake Road in Brockport:

• Tuesday Night Coed Adult Volleyball League - (fee - $110 per team)
• Self Defense for Youth and Adults - (fee - $36 per person) - Tuesday Evenings
• American Red Cross Babysitting Class - Youth (fee - $30 per youth) Saturdays (once per month)

The following programs are currently running at the community center and new participants are welcome:

• Open Walking - Mondays-Friday 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. ($1 at the door)
• Jazzercise - Many different classes, days and times available.

Many volunteer opportunities exist - for example: youth sports coaches/instructors, desk volunteers, program volunteers, community service opportunities, beautification projects.
