The Monroe County Fire Bureau held ceremonies for graduates of the county firefighter training program. Receiving certificates that evening were ten members of the Chili Fire Department. Not shown Firefighter Jim Paxon. Jeremy Sibbald follows in the firefighting footsteps of his grandfather, father, and brother as well as his mother who is a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. The county training program is offered for new volunteer firefighters who have little or no firefighting related backgrounds and takes them through all aspects of basic firefighting skills such as theory of fire, fire suppression, ladders, and ventilation techniques.
