•Minges, Adeline E., On April 18, 2002. Survived by son, William C.; two daughters, Jo Anne (Joseph) Rinallo, Christine (Peter) Hart; five granddaughters; one sister, Eleanor DeMarse.

Memorial Service was held May 4, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 191 Nichols Street, Spencerport, NY 14559. Contributions can be made to the Church Memorial Fund.


CHILI

•Pikuet, Gail (Widener), May 5, 2002, age 65. Predeceased by parents, Roger and Frances and step-father, George Webster. She is survived by husband, Steven; three children, Dennis (Julie), Carolyn and Kevin; three grandchildren; sister, Patricia (John) Vink; and several nieces and nephews. Gail was matriarch of the family's paving business for over 30 years and will be sadly missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial, was said May 8 at St. Pius The Tenth Church. Interment, St. Pius The Tenth Cemetery. Contributions can be made in her memory to The National Colorectal Cancer Research Alliance (Katie Couric), 11132 Ventura Boulevard, Suite 401, Studio City, CA 91604-3156.


HAMLIN

•Miller, Virginia B. "Ginny," Peacefully, April 30, 2002 at age 74. She is survived by her devoted husband, Kenneth M. Miller; her children, Lynda (Bob) Negelty, Douglas Miller (Nancy Baker), Melody (Craig) Lape; her grandchildren, Jon, Jeff, Matt and Christopher Doran, Brad, Bryan and Kate Lape; seven great grandchildren; her sisters, Dorothy (Harry) Butler, Cedie Patt, Evelyn (Carl) Taylor; her brothers, George (Dorothy) Bancroft, Roy (Marilyn) Bancroft; sister-in-law, Sudie Bancroft; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her grandson, Brett and her brother, Mike Bancroft. Ginny was a Charter Member and First President of Hamlin VFW #6703, Ladies Auxiliary.

Funeral Services were held May 3 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Kendall. Interment Lakeside Cemetery. Those wishing can make contributions to Concordia Organ Fund or Lakeside Foundation in her memory.


•Radloff, Helen A., On Wednesday, May 1, 2002. Predeceased by her husband, Raymond and her brother, Joseph Wolfe. She is survived by her children, Beatrice Anderson of Hamlin, John (Alice) of Rochester; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, Caroline Ophardt of Brockport and sister-in-law, Linda Wolfe of Hamlin.

Memorial Service was held May 3 at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Friends can make contributions to the Window Fund of St. John's Lutheran Church of Hamlin.


•Wierzchowski, Donald "Chow," On Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at the age of 59. He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Swift; daughter, Leslie Swift; son-in-law, Donald Collins Pingleton III; his father, Howard Smith; step-mother, Rose Smith; step-brother, Skip Smith; several nieces, nephews and godchildren. Chow was a beloved and trusted teacher and coach at Spencerport Central Schools.

•Jones, Thomas A., On April 26, 2002. Survived by his children, John (Jayne) Jones, Christine (Ken) Dobson; grandchildren, Chelsea and Maxine Dobson; brothers and sisters, Emily Platt, Frank Jones, Margie (Morris) Stevens, Dorothy Eacock, George (Claire) Jones, Robert (Beryl) Jones; several nieces and nephews.

•Stazie, William A., Age 84, died May 6, 2002. He was predeceased by his sister, Teresa Emanuele. He is survived by his wife, Elsie (Nenne) Stazie; two daughters, Marsha (Jerry) Hickey of Brockport, Suzanne (William) Scotti of Long Island; grandchildren, Caitlin and Brendan Hickey, Billy and Jack Scotti; brothers, Thomas (Pauline) Stazie of Holley, Joseph (Helena) Stazie of Rochester; sister, Ann Brunette of Holley and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said May 8 in St. Mary's Church. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Diabetes Association, 320 Lexington Avenue, Rochester, NY 14613 or Alzheimer's Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620.


NORTH GREECE

•Croft, David H., Suddenly, April 30, 2002, at age 87 in Portland, Maine. He was predeceased by his wife, Bette, 1999. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, James (Deborah) and Thomas (Jacqueline); his grand-children, David, Emily, Sarah, Cynthia, Lisa and Rebecca Croft; his sister, Helen Plane; several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service was held May 4 at Hope Lutheran Church, Greece. Private interment, Lakeview Cemetery, Hemlock. Those wishing can make contributions to Hope Lutheran Church Memorial Fund in his memory.


SPENCERPORT

•Nixon, Shirley M. (Miller), Monday, May 6, 2002 at age 79. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick H. Nixon. She is survived by her daughters, Leilani (Bruce Staehle) Nixon, M.D. of Connecticut and Lorelei Westcott of Spencerport; two granddaughters, Jessica L. Westcott and Jennifer L. (Cesar) Depaz; four great-grandchildren: Kierstin Westcott, Esteban and Jasmine Cruz, Cesar Depaz; her sister, Helen Goodridge; several nieces and nephews. Shirley was the Historian for the Town of Ogden since 1981 and was a retiree of Delco Products.

Funeral Services were held May 9 at Walker Brothers Company Funeral Home, Inc., Spencerport. Interment Fairfield Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Town of Ogden Historical Society or to the First Congregational Church of Spencerport in her memory.
