Hilton's Quest School
donates more than
1,000 books to RTS
"Books on Buses"
Program
An outpouring of over 1,000 books was presented to Donald Riley, Chief Executive Officer of Rochester-Genesee Regional Transportation Authority, recently from students and teachers at Hilton's Quest Elementary School. Inspired by Quest teacher Val Clark, the book drive will help young passengers who take the RTS buses throughout the Rochester area. "Each of our buses is stocked with a selection of books for children to read while commuting with their parents," Riley said. "This program, the first of its kind in the nation, has proven to be enormously successful."
